Golden Globe Predictions

I'm actually in shock that the Golden Globes are tomorrow. My interest in awards season has dwindled this year, despite my favorite movie of the year, Boyhood, dominating so thoroughly thus far, garnering wins and nominations from groups and guilds across the country and industry.  Still, the Globes are a riot to watch, especially with Amy Poehler and Tina Fey hosting again.

One of the big questions is if the HFPA will go for Into the Woods, as they've often favored musicals over comedies on that side of things (Dreamgirls, Sweeney Todd, and Les Miserables won over Little Miss Sunshine, Juno, and Silver Linings Playbook, for instance).  But Birdman has been so lauded, and Rob Marshall missed out on a Best Director nod, so if anything spoils, it'll be The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Below you'll find my predictions for who I expect to win, and then who I'll be cheering for.
