Never Let Me Go

I recently read Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro, and it's a tremendous novel. There's a sort of sci-fi slant to it, though it feels very grounded in reality, and it's romantic without being overly sentimental. The film adaptation is perhaps my most anticipated film for the rest of the year (The Social Network being its biggest competition). Keira Knightley, Carey Mulligan, Sally Hawkins, and Andrew Garfield make up the impressive cast, and the trailer looks like the book makes the transition to the screen perfectly. It looks simply (and fittingly) stunning. Only a few weeks left to wait.
