hitRECord at the Movies with Joseph Gordon-Levitt

I'm fortunate enough to be a Film Studies major at The Ohio State University, as our Ohio Union Activity Board brings in lots of big names to enlighten and entertain us. In the past couple years, I've been able to see Andy Samberg, James Cameron, and Conan O'Brien, but without doubt, my favorite act to come through thus far is Joseph Gordon-Levitt, hipster god and indie heartthrob.

Last night he stopped by campus to promote his cool artistic community website, hitRECord, which invites artists of all sorts to collaborate on various projects, including videos that play at events such as last night's as well as on the internet and at film festivals.

If you've kept tabs on previous hitRECord events, you likely know that JGL usually breaks out the guitar at some point and entertains the crowd with his wonderful musical stylings. Last night was no exception, as he presented an original song called "Words We're Wailing" and covered "Ignition" by R. Kelly, which I present for your listening pleasure below.

Make sure to click on through to the Such Moving Pictures Youtube channel to check out 8 (8!) other videos from last night's fun.
