(500) Days of Summer: LA Memories

My vacation to Los Angeles two summers ago was full of wonderful sights, both touristy and not-so.  Most of the highlights were seeing where (500) Days of Summer was filmed.  For this most holy DVD anniversary, please take a walk down memory lane with me.

First sighting of the bench. My heart skipped a beat.
Admiring the view, and the commemorative
plaque on the back of the bench.
The metro station from whence Tom came
The Redwood Grill, where they filmed the
karaoke scenes.  Had to come back the next
day, as they were filming Bridesmaids
when I went the first time.
The booth where Tom, McKenzie, and Summer
talk about whether love exists.

Inside the Bradbury Building, where Tom interviews
at the end of the movie.  It's more famous for
having been used in Blade Runner.
Those lovely elevators that served as a
visual metaphor for the machinery of fate.
The Hotel Barclay, which was used for the Donkey
Kong cafe.  Sadly, the set no longer exists.
The theater where Tom and Summer see Vagiant
