Best of 2011: The Winners

The Oscars generally do a mediocre job at best of recognizing the best of the best this year, and based on the nominees this year, we're in for more of the same.  However, a few of my personal picks for the year's best are actually nominated, so with a little luck, I'll have some reason to celebrate in a couple weeks.  More likely than not, I'll have to settle for handing my imaginary trophies to these deserving winners.
