Take This Waltz Trailer

Canadian writer-director Sarah Polley follows up her critically-acclaimed debut Away from Her (which garnered Oscar nominations for Julie Christie and Polley's screenplay) with Take This Waltz, about a happily married woman who falls in love with another man.  Michelle Williams and Seth Rogen star as the married couple, with Luke Kirby taking the role of the other man.  Sarah Silverman provides comic relief as Rogen's character's sister.

The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last year to mixed reviews, but even as a non-fan of Away from Her, I think Take This Waltz looks promising.  This trailer provides a better sense of what kind of movie it is than previous marketing, and it looks like another beautiful performance from Williams, who never fails to impress.  Rogen proved he has serious acting chops in 50/50, and this looks like another role that may allow him to expand his repertoire beyond the generally bawdy tone his characters command.

Take This Waltz hits theaters this summer.

(Note: this video is a bit weird, with the trailer starting at the :20 mark.)
