Angelina Jolie is Maleficent

Fairy tales are in, and one of the most exciting re-imaginings on the horizon is Disney's Maleficent, a live-action take on Sleeping Beauty from the strangely sexy villain's point of view.  This first shot suggests that Angelina Jolie is perfectly suited for the role.  I'm excited to see more about Maleficent, which boasts a great cast including Elle Fanning, Sharlto Copley, Lesley Manville, and Imelda Staunton.

We've got a long wait for this one, as it doesn't hit theaters until March 14, 2014.
