My Hollywood hero Charlie Kaufman (Being John Malkovich, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) is working with Community creator Dan Harmon to create a stop-motion animated film, Anomalisa, about a successful motivational speaker who escapes his own hollow existence when he hears a woman's voice that rescues him from the brink of nothingness. In short, it's very Kaufman-esque.
Here's where you come in. To avoid all the interference of Hollywood (this is not your typical animated flick), Kaufman and gang have turned to Kickstarter to raise the $200,000 they need for the project. I'm proud to say that this is the first time I've donated to a project; as a Kaufman aficionado, it's the least I can do.
