Dual Man of Steel Teasers

Superman has never been one of my favorite superheroes. Like many (and by "many," I mean a lot of my friends/people I talk to), he seems a little too super for my taste. His deck is way too stacked, especially when compared to the powers-free Batman. Still, I've enjoyed the cinematic outings I've seen (yes, even Superman Returns, and after seeing these teasers, I'm crazy excited about Zack Snyder's forthcoming reboot, despite my tendency to dislike the director's movies.

Maybe it's the sense that this movie is focusing more on the man than the super. Maybe it's the Terrence Malick-esque camerawork. Maybe it's just because I love superhero movies, and this has been a banner year for them, so I'm hoping the run of quality carries over into 2013. Whatever the reason, Man of Steel looks like a winner.
