Terrence Malick's latest has been in development for years; the man hasn't released a movie since 2005's The New World. At long last, The Tree of Life is on the verge of release, and it looks simply stunning. This is one of the finest trailers I've ever seen; it seems to combine the epic scope of 2001: A Space Odyssey with a greater human element. If it all pans out, this could (should) be one of the most acclaimed films of 2011. I'm dying to see it.
