Rise of the Guardians Poster and Trailer

Dreamworks has released a new poster and trailer (via ComingSoon) for their forthcoming holiday family flick, Rise of The Guardians.  Last year's Arthur Christmas proved that Christmas movies can be genuinely funny and worth watching year-round, and with its wide cast of characters, Rise of the Guardians looks to be casting an even wider net.

The film, based on William Joyce's The Guardians of Childhood books, follows a group of our most beloved holiday figures, such as Santa Claus (Alec Baldwin) and the Easter Bunny (Hugh Jackman), as they battle the evil Pitch (Jude Law) as he tries to destroy the magic and imagination of childhood.  The film looks like it could be hit or miss, but with Dreamworks' success in recent years, I'm hopeful that they can conjure another solid animated hit.  Chris Pine, Isla Fisher, and Dakota Goyo also provide voices.
