Goats Trailer

Goats, a Sundance coming-of-age tale based on the Mark Poirier novel of the same name starring David Duchovny, Vera Farmiga, and Graham Phillips, is due out in a month's time, but we're only just getting the trailer.  Phillips stars as a boy about to leave home for a prep school across the country.  He leaves his hippie mother (Farmiga) and de facto father Goat Man (Duchovny, looking so very hairy) behind, and reconnects with his dad (Ty Burrell) and his new wife (Keri Russell).  It's a strong cast and a novel wrapping on a bland story, which will hopefully add up to another worthwhile addition to what's shaping up to be a better-than-usual August line-up.

Goats opens August 10.
