First Look: I'm So Excited

Pedro Almodovar is one of my favorite directors.  He's a true auteur, with his films dripping with colorful melodrama, and he always gets the best work out of great actors like Antonio Banderas (who gave a career-best turn in last year's The Skin I Live In) and Penelope Cruz (who has shone in films like Volver and Broken Embraces). 

Next year, Almodovar gathers a great cast of some of his favorite collaborators, including Banderas and Cruz, for I'm So Excited, a comedy set on an airplane in which the characters start sharing their secrets when they believe they're going to die.  I have no doubt it will be claustrophobic fun, and I'm So Excited is already near the top of my most anticipated films of 2013.
