Wreck-It Ralph Trailer

Disney has released a new trailer for their forthcoming animated love letter to video games, Wreck-It Ralph, and it has me ever more jazzed for the movie.  The trailer outlines the story a little more fully, with the threat of being unplugged of great concern to the denizens of Ralph's native cabinet, and it's packed with even more cameos from classic characters, such as Sonic the Hedgehog and Frogger.

Other highlights:
-The character selection screen used to introduce the voice cast.  Genius.
-Subbing in fun.'s "Some Nights" for Flo Rida's "Good Feeling" from the previous trailer, even though the way "Some Nights" is edited feels choppy.
-Fix-It Felix's hammer fixing the bars in the window he's trying to break.  Awesome.

Wreck-It Ralph is shaping up to be perhaps the most promising family flick of the holiday season, though I still wonder if its subject matter will be too unfamiliar to many elderly Academy members for it to figure into the Oscar race.

Wreck-It Ralph hits theaters November 2.
