Hugh Jackman is one of the most talented men in show business, and finally, he's bringing his immense musical talent (guy's got a well-deserved Tony) to the big screen as Jean Valjean in Tom Hooper's amazing-looking adaptation of Les Miserables.  Jackman has been overlooked by the Academy despite great work in films like The Fountain and The Prestige, but this time, it'll be hard to ignore him.

Plus, he's the best Oscars host in the past decade.  So he's got some awards love coming his way, hopefully.
